Swami Nischalananda Saraswati |
Swami Nishchalananda Saraswati is the Founder and Director of Mandala Yoga Ashram in Wales. He spent 14 years in India with his Guru, Swami Satyananda Saraswati, from 1971 to 1985. During that time he spent 7 years teaching Yoga in villages and cities throughout India.
Since 1985 he has been leading workshops and seminars on a wide range of Yoga and Meditation related subjects in the Ashram, all over Europe and in India. Author of several books on Yoga, his two most recent books are: Mantra Yoga and Ashram Chants and The Edge of Infinity. He is currently writing two books entitled: Vigyana Bhairava Tantra, which gives a practical presentation of one hundred and twelve means of transforming our vision of life and existence; and The Chakras: Catalysts of Human Evolution and Destiny, which treats the chakras from all perspectives and is intended as a practical manual for the transformation of energy and the realisation of Consciousness. His sessions will be based on teachings from Vijnana Bhairava Tantra. |

Swami Pragyamurti Saraswati |
Swami Pragyamurti Saraswati has been Director of the Satyananda Yoga Centre, London for over thirty years. Her interest in the spiritual path began in the sixties when she came into contact with the teachings of the Bihar School of Yoga and its founder, Swami Satyananda Saraswati.
On Swamiji's instructions she started teaching yoga in 1971 at her house in south London, which we now know as the Satyananda Yoga Centre. Over the last twenty years Swami Pragyamurti's main areas of work have included the establishment and teaching of a two year Yoga Teacher Training Course, working with people living with HIV/AIDS, and teaching yoga in prison where she feels strongly about the importance and relevance of yoga and meditation to the inmates. Her warmth and wisdom demonstrate how the Indian tradition of Sannyasa can be integrated successfully with life in a busy Western city. The theme for her sessions is 'Tools for Transformation'. |

Swami Satyaprakash Saraswati |
Swami Satyaprakash met Satyananda Yoga in 1979 and since then has studied and taught extensively in UK and in ashrams in Europe and India. She founded Satyananda Yoga Centre Birmingham in 1986 with the blessings of Swami Satyananda to provide a responsive teaching centre to meet the needs of the community in the West Midlands.
Passionate about the quality of Yoga Teaching, she developed and delivered Teacher Training courses and In Service Training for teachers. Always keen to introduce yoga into the lives of as many people as possible, she has taught in many and diverse situations including prisons, mental health community projects, alcohol rehabilitation schemes and an Acquired Brain Injury day care centre. She is a member of the governing body of Satyananda Yoga Academy Europe and was instrumental in delivering the first Yogic Studies course 2005 - 2006. She will lead sessions on 'Mantra Yoga'. |

Swami Sumitrananda Saraswati |
Swami Sumitrananda was born in London and trained as a furnishing textile designer. She moved to Australia in 1975 and soon afterwards began the study of yoga. After joining the Satyananda Ashram in 1982, she met her Guru and was initiated into poorna sannyasa in April 1983. Embracing the disciplines of an ashram lifestyle, Swami Sumitrananda began working in the teaching field for the Satyananda Ashrams throughout Australia. She gained a deep experience of teaching the practices as systematised by Swami Satyananda with special emphasis on the application of Yoga for the needs of others in society.
From 1992 she became a resident of the ashram and gurukul in Munger, living and working under the guidance of Swami Niranjanananda. She has taught extensively for both Bihar School of Yoga and Bihar Yoga Bharati and has been involved in the development of yoga education and conducting of programmes such as teacher training, Kriya Yoga and Tattwa Shuddhi courses. Swami Sumitrananda is continuing a simple yogic lifestyle in the UK, sharing her understanding of the teachings and practices together with the knowledge imbibed from the rich experience of living within the eastern and western ashram cultures. She will lead sessions developing the theme of 'Exploring the Breath'. |

Swami Vedantananda Saraswati |
Swami Vedantananda Saraswati began practising yoga at the age of 16, studying with several teachers before meeting her guru Swami Satyananda Saraswati in 1983. She was initiated into poorna sannyasa in 1985. Since that turning point in her life she has taught yoga in many areas of society, specialising in teaching yoga with children, in-service training for teachers and yoga teacher training. She is a respected and much loved yoga teacher whose humour shines, through her love of living yoga. She is currently living in Portugal where she offers yoga and meditation retreats. Her topic will be ‘ Living Yoga’. |
Rajesh David is a composer and singer from a family of singers. Trained in Indian classical music, he is inspired by the mystic saint-poets of India. Rajesh and Upasana are trained yoga teachers and are closely associated Mandala Yoga Ashram, Wales where they lived for four years and where they continue to teach.
They will lead Nada Yoga sessions that will include an introduction to Indian music, raga and tala (note and rhythm patterns), use sound and mantra combined with asana, pranayama and meditation to sensitise resonating areas in the body and chakras. Nada Yoga can lead to an increasingly refined tuning of our perception, energised body, quietened mind, heightened awareness of energy flow within and around. Through exploring sound levels from gross to subtle we can draw closer to our highest potential. |

Swami Anandananda Saraswati |
Swami Anandananda Saraswati was born in 1951, he met his guru and spiritual master Swami Satyananda Saraswati in 1979 and in 1980 was initiated into the tradition of sannyasa. Since this time he has been, teaching and spreading yoga under the instructions of his guru, specialising in advanced techniques such as kriya yoga, tattwa shuddhi, nada yoga, mantra and other techniques of meditation according to the Satyananda Tradition. In 1982, he founded “Satyananda Ashram Italy” and in the following year, “Edizioni Satyananda Ashram Italia” publishing house. He has led seminars and workshops at international conferences in Europe, India, Australia, Colombia and South Africa and conducts yoga teacher training courses and in service training on various aspects and branches of yoga. Since 2003 he has been conducting courses and seminars at Rikhia Ashram, India for yoga aspirants. He will lead sessions exploring the practice of Yoga Nidra. |

Swami Muktidharma Saraswati |
Swami Muktidharmananda Saraswati has been dedicated to Satyananda Yoga for close to 40 years. He met Swami Niranjanananda in 1972 and his Guru, Paramahamsa Satyananda in 1975 in his native Colombia, South America. From 1980 -1996, Swami Muktidharma lived in India under the direct guidance of his Guru receiving training and experience in the depths of yoga. In 1996 a new phase of sannyas life began, which led Swami Muktidharma to New Zealand where he is Yoga Acharaya and cofounder of Anahata Yoga Retreat. He specializes in working therapeutically with people, training residents in yogic lifestyle and has published insightful articles on different topics of the yoga science. In service of his Guru, Swami Muktidharma also travels widely bringing the message of Satyananda Yoga throughout the world. He is dedicated to sharing inspiration, knowledge, and solid techniques to uplift humanity. He maintains a strong link with India with twice-yearly visits, during which he leads courses focused on topics such as Chakra Sadhana, Prana Vidya and Dharana. Swami Muktidharma’s understanding of yoga is practical and comes from personal experience over many years. He shares with humour and strength, touching the heart of many aspirants and inspiring them to gradually expand to their full potential. He will lead sessions exploring Antar Mouna (meditation), and the Liberation of Prana (energy). |

Swami Sivamurti Saraswati |
Swami Sivamurti Saraswati was born and raised in Australia. In 1976 her guru, Swami Satyananda Saraswati, initiated her into Poorna Sannyasa and commissioned her to spread the teachings of yoga in Greece. In 1978 she founded Satyanandashram Hellas which comprises a residential ashram in Paiania and Satyananda Yoga Centres in both Athens, Salonica and other towns in Greece. Swami Sivamurti is a member of the International Yoga Fellowship Movement and, in 1993, she was recognized by the IYFM as a yoga Acharya. In 2004 she was appointed an official emissary of Satyananda Yoga by the Bihar School of Yoga. She is also a guardian of the Satyananda Yoga Academy Europe and a member of its Governing Body. Swami Sivamurti is based at the Paiania ashram and travels regularly throughout Greece, and other parts of the world, giving seminars and lecturing on yoga. Her theme will be, 'Yoga and Tantra - Living Consciously'.
